“Life is a constant flow of change, adaptation, and renewal”
Metamorphosis comes in all shapes and sizes, most times in the form of the unforeseen. But, for Hannah, it came in the form of vulnerability.
Hannah, a dual resident of London and Paris, has split her life between the two cities for this exact reason. Having worked in fashion for over ten years, her title as a senior buyer is what tethers her to the London fog while her heart remains captured by the other.
“For me, love was the greatest change and metamorphosis in my life,” shared Hannah. “I met a person at a time that was so unexpected and, in a way, so unexpected. Before that, I never showed anyone my vulnerability.”
Every relationship and connection we make, every person we meet, and every experience that we have, we’re constantly evolving, changing and adapting.
Practising the technique of pointe ballet for fieen years, that and other sports in her youth had conditioned Hannah to a certain level of discipline and control, which fashion, and later love, rewrote the rules of.
“I’ve never had the confidence to be myself or transparent, or someone who saw and understood me. And in that moment and the years that came, love allowed me to open up. Having someone who saw my vision and value– is the security in knowing you will never fail or fall because someone’s there to catch you. Having this even transformed my view of other people as well.”
Wearing the Meta Mini Hoop Earrings and Meta Statement Bracelet, Hannah’s breakthroughs becomes actualised in each turning stone.
“I love the combination of shapes. It feels so unexpected and graphic and geometrical but elegant at the same time. I think it’s something you could wear in so many ways. It’s a statement on its own but combined with other things; there are so many ways to interpret in your style.”
